Maria E. Caley

Attorney Maria Caley is a life long resident of Rhode Island. After graduating from the University of Rhode Island, she received a law degree from Suffolk University Law School in Boston, Massachusetts. While attending law school, she was selected to serve an internship with the United States Department of Justice, United States Attorney for the First Circuit, District of Rhode Island, as well as an internship at the Rhode Island Department of the Attorney General. Additionally, she was a law clerk at Corcoran, Peckham & Hayes, one of the oldest and most prestigious law firms in Newport County. Whilst in law school she volunteered at the Veterans Legal Service Project, Administering legal aid to low income veterans.

Attorney Caley was a general partner at Caley & Euler, LLC until she joined the Family Law Center of Rhode Island. In 2010, she was the founding partner of Pelletier, Clarke & Caley, LLC.

Gary G. Pelletier

Attorney Gary Pelletier is a native of Taunton, Massachusetts, and is an accomplished criminal defense attorney who has earned regional and national recognition for results in high profile and complex cases. He earned his Bachelor of Arts Degree in History and Creative Writing from Brown University, his Juris Doctorate from Vanderbilt University School of Law, and participated in the LL.M. program at New York University School of Law. He has practiced law for over 25 years and was named Attorney of the Year by Rhode Island Lawyers Weekly.

Attorney Pelletier has practiced law for over 25 years and started his legal career by serving as a law clerk to the Honorable Robert C. Chambers in the Southern District of West Virginia, and then as a law clerk to the Honorable David R. Hansen in the United States Court of Appeals for the Eighth Circuit.

Attorney Pelletier’s practice covers all facets of criminal litigation from economic crimes to murder to drunk driving. He has successfully tried cases in the federal and state courts in Rhode Island, Massachusetts, and New York.  Over the past decade, Attorney Pelletier has achieved not guilty verdicts for clients accused of manslaughter, sexual assault, international smuggling, operating/driving under the influence of alcohol and refusal to submit to a chemical test.

In addition to trials, Attorney Pelletier has an expansive and successful appellate and post-conviction practice.  He has argued before the Rhode Island Supreme Court, the Massachusetts Supreme Judicial Court, the Massachusetts Appeals Court, the Vermont Supreme Court and the United States Courts of Appeals for the First Circuit in Boston, the Second Circuit in New York City, and Ninth Circuit in San Francisco.

Becky F. Clarke

Attorney Rebecca Clarke, a native Rhode Islander, brings many years of experience to the practice of law. After obtaining a Bachelor’s and Master’s degree from the University of Rhode Island, Rebecca received her law degree from Roger Williams University School of Law, Bristol, Rhode Island.

During her law school experience, Rebecca co-authored “Hot Air: Undue Judicial Deference to Federal Aviation Administration Expertise in Assessing the Environmental impacts of Aviation”, The Journal of Air Law and Commerce, 2004.  She interned for Superior Court Justice Susan McGuirl and worked for The Law Offices of Kenneth Tremblay. Following her graduation from law school, Rebecca worked for the Family Law Center of Rhode Island, directly under now District Court Judge Colleen Hastings.  Not only did she gain invaluable experience in the area of Family Law, but Rebecca assisted in both Municipal and District Court prosecutions.

As a partner in Pelletier, Clarke, & Caley, LLC, Rebecca has the skills and the knowledge to successfully handle criminal and family cases to completion, including divorce, custody, visitation, child support, adoption, and relocation.  She is a member of the Rhode Island Bar Association and Federal Bar Association, District of Rhode Island and is certified in Mediation.
